Appealing to the senses through food is at the heart of Executive Chef Paul Zijlstra. His passion for delicious, beautifully plated fresh food led him to the Culinary Hotel School in Amsterdam, and he later trained in Holland with Dutch Master Chefs. In 2008, Chef Paul left the reef-lined Caribbean coast of Bonaire for the year-round sunny skies and sandy beaches of Aruba, where he joined Divi Resorts as Executive Chef at Windows on Aruba and Mulligans Restaurant.
In 2016, he took the reigns as Executive Chef for Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives and introduced theme nights that have become iconic for resort guests. Reflecting his exceptional culinary skills, Chef Paul has overseen the sourcing of fresh, quality food for tens of thousands of diners, as well as members of Dutch, Aruban, and foreign governments, members of Parliament, and Dutch royalty.

Both resorts cook with vegetable oil. The resorts cannot be held responsible for guests receiving wheat or peanut in their food. There are other alternatives on the menu, and sample menus can be viewed on this website. The Food & Beverage Manager is available to aid you with food selections on property.
For any food allergy concerns or special requests, please ask for the chef on duty at any of our restaurants for assistance with your food preparation. Our chefs are available to assist with any of your needs and, if necessary, will prepare special dishes to ensure your satisfaction during your stay.
