The Aruban Immigration Authority requires all travelers to complete an online Embarkation and Disembarkation (ED) program. The mandatory online ED program must be completed before you travel. There is a $20 sustainability fee for visitors arriving by air, and the fee will be charged through the online ED Card platform.

The only official website to obtain your ED card is https://edcardaruba.aw/.

The $20 Sustainability Fee is required for all non-residents arriving by air. It funds local environmental and wastewater infrastructure projects. Payment is integrated into the Online Embarkation / Disembarkation (ED) Card system. As a result, you will need to complete this payment before you can receive your ED card approval.

Payments can only be made by credit card. For a list of those exempt to pay this fee refer to this FAQ. For some of the exemptions you may have to pay the fee and get reimbursed by Aruba Wastewater Sustainable Solutions (AWSS).

For all questions related to the payment and reimbursement of the Sustainability Fee, you can reach AWSS at info@awss.aw. For all questions related to the ED card, contact the Immigration Department at migracion.aruba@dga.aw. ED cards can be completed within 7 days before arrival. We recommend you do so at your earliest convenience to ensure a smooth process. Please note that the completion of the ED card is mandatory to enter Aruba.
