We visited Barista on our very first morning after arriving at the resort, and we were immediately stunned. This isn't just a grab-and-go coffee counter. Barista is a sophisticated, open-air café surrounded by lush tropical greenery, with an atmosphere so inviting it genuinely feels like stepping into a rainforest. The dark wood slat paneling, warm ambient lighting, glowing logo sign, and abundant plant life create an aesthetic that is both modern and lush. It’s a perfect reflection of Aruba's natural beauty!
Barista is open daily from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, making it an ideal stop for early morning coffee lovers and late-rising pastry seekers alike. It's located near the main lobby of the Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive, easily accessible whether you're staying at the Tamarijn or the neighboring Divi Aruba All Inclusive. We stayed at the Divi and made multiple trips over daily.

From the moment Barista opens, the pastry case is stocked with an impressive selection of flaky croissants in a variety of flavors, alongside other fresh breakfast pastries. It's the kind of morning spread that makes skipping the buffet feel like an easy decision. Just grab your coffee and a warm croissant, find a seat in the tropical surroundings, and enjoy your morning.
Here's where Barista really sets itself apart: around 12:30 PM each day, the pastry selection transforms. The morning croissants give way to an entirely new lineup of artisan afternoon treats — and they are incredible. Think indulgent éclairs in flavors like blueberry and pistachio, homemade cookies, madeleines, and lemon muffins that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Our family had a genuinely difficult time choosing between the blueberry and pistachio éclairs (so naturally, we got both).
The rotating pastry menu — morning to afternoon — gives guests a reason to return throughout the day, and we found ourselves planning our afternoons around a Barista stop.
One of our favorite moments at Barista was watching our daughter pick out her pastry, walk away with that branded kraft paper bag in hand, and immediately dig in with a grin. That's the kind of small, memorable resort moment that stays with you long after the trip is over.
